X•MCS Mortality Prep Platform

Proper waste preparation is the key to success in composting.  The Prep Platform automates all preparation processes in order to eliminate human contact with mortalities and also ensures that the “recipe” is exactly right for perfect composting.

The mortalities are placed on the large dump chute and then tipped into the grinder (patent pending). The ground waste travels up a large, screened, screw auger for removal of more fluids and is placed in screened-bottom hopper.  Throughout the entire process, all fluids from the carcasses are captured in a 1500 gal. (6000 litre) holding tank—so there is no leachate contamination.  The waste is fed into a ribbon mixer where it is mixed with a metered volume of carbon amendment in order to achieve the correct C:N ratio.  From here, the waste is fed into the X•ACT in-vessel composter.

Proper sanitation practices have been accounted for in the design of the system with hinged covers, viewing platforms, and easy and complete access to all surfaces for thorough cleaning and inspection.

X•MCS Transporter

X•MCS is emergency response capable and is ideal for proper disposal of mortalities, site-to-site composting of raw waste, or custom work.  Just pin, pick up, move, and place the system into position easily with the X•MCS Transporter.  As need requires, one Transporter can handle many composters or mixing platforms.  The Transporter tail section has a motorized feature that makes it easy for the operator to place and pin the tail to the vessel or platform.  The X•MCS meets DOT standards.
